Colombia Elvira Escarpeta

StoryCoffee, blending tips and farm information.
From producer Elvira Escarpeta comes the latest offering out of Colombia featuring melon sweetness rounded out with a cocoa-like body.
Roaster's Note:
The Huila region of Colombia produces maybe my favorite coffees in the world. The Elvira Escarpeta only reinforces my belief. With notes of cocoa and melon it's definitely a crowd-pleaser. I guarantee* this beautiful bean will fulfill all your hopes and dreams.
*Guarantee not guaranteed.
Timaná is a small local town in the region and has provided us with several wonderful coffees, including the first decaf I ever roasted for Tectonic. Please email deaton@tectoniccoffee.com and tell him to send me there to find out more info for this story.
This coffee is so round and balanced that I don’t think you can go wrong with any brewing method but I would suggest making a Chemex and sitting in your favorite chair and relaxing. Or maybe making an Aeropress while you’re camping and sitting on your favorite log and relax.More -
