We love coffee—and we’ve built our lives around it.

Tectonic Coffee started with a deep love for coffee and a whole lot of experience. Our founder, Deaton Pigot, began working in hospitality as a teenager in Australia. Over the past 31 years, he's led cafés in places like Ireland, Singapore, and the USA—visiting over 30 countries through coffee. That journey gave him a strong understanding of how coffee is grown, traded, roasted, and enjoyed around the world.

Tectonic is about more than just good coffee. It’s about the people who grow it, the baristas who serve it, and the communities who gather around it. We care about doing things right—from the way we source beans to how we help others open great cafés. Whether you're brewing at home, opening a café, or coordinating multiple coffee bars inside a hotel—we’re here to make it seamless.

We visit coffee origins annually—focusing on either Central or South America each year—building direct relationships with producers and deepening our understanding of the supply chain at origin.

From the mountains of Ethiopia to the farms of Colombia, we pay extra to support the producers we believe in and have worked with for years.
