About Tectonic’s Founder

Tectonic’s impassioned founder, Deaton Pigot, brings a wealth of 25+ years industry experience.

As a well rounded coffee professional, he has a tested palette notably judging on multiple Cup of Excellence panels internationally in countries like Honduras, Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica and Colombia.

Deaton has also judged on a national level Barista Championships and has coached multiple US Regional and National Barista Champions.
