Thought Session-That's a wrap!

During the evening of August 15 we were surrounded by our friends, partners, and supporters. It was an event we called "Thought Session," a chance to wind down and share a meal and amazing conversation with local current/aspiring business leaders. There was no better way to kick off and celebrate Tectonic's launch and celebrate you, our partners.

We invited guest speakers to share their insight to help enrich our partners. 

Matt Mershon, Growth Hacker from Thought Foundry, kicked things off sharing real-world analytics from his time helping us push ads on Facebook. He noted ways that our partners could build their own businesses using various online tools.

Then Lorena Tomb, CEO/Founder of Urbanlime Real Estate, shared tips for navigating tough landlords, understanding your demographic, and finding locations where your product fills a need. 

Owner of Coffee Commissary, Tyler King, shared his story of how he built one of LA's earliest specialty coffee cafes-then expanded it to 6 locations. 

Special thanks to Square One Dining for sharing their space and for filling our bellies.

It's an exciting time for us and we can't wait to move forward with you all, kicking things off with the #tcchondurasproject fundraiser to help build a dining hall at Escuela Aldea la Piedrona in Honduras.
