Kenya - Mawiko Farm - 2026 - Light Roast

Mawiko Farm marks an important milestone—not only for Tectonic Coffee, but for producer Elizabeth Waithera. After years of cultivating coffee on her family’s farm in Murang’a County, Elizabeth is releasing her coffee through her first direct export, allowing her work to reach roasters and coffee drinkers without passing through the traditional auction system. For years, her harvest was sold as parchment to a local cooperative before being milled and traded through the Nairobi Coffee Exchange. Today, her coffee carries her own name and story from farm to cup.

Grown at 1,800 meters and carefully washed before drying on raised African beds, this SL28 offers vibrant notes of pomegranate, crisp apple, and sweet tea—a beautifully transparent expression of Kenya’s terroir and Elizabeth’s dedication to her craft.
